New Version Of Technology Innovation Roadmap Released
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China recently released the (Made in China 2025 ▪ 2017 Edition) technology innovation roadmap for key areas. According to the research of the expert group compiling the technology roadmap, by 2025, China's communication equipment, rail transit equipment, and power equipment will be in the world's leading ranks as a whole and become the leader of technological innovation. Lu Yongxiang, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and director of the National Manufacturing Power Construction Strategic Advisory Committee, and Xin Guobin, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Office of the National Manufacturing Power Construction Leading Group, attended the press conference and delivered speeches.
Lu Yongxiang pointed out that the new version of the "Technology Roadmap" further improves the scientificity, foresight, and strategic nature of the guidance, and enhances the timeliness and reference value of the guidance. In the next step, the Strategic Advisory Committee should carefully organize experts to thoroughly carry out the publicity, interpretation and guidance of the technology roadmap, give full play to the guiding role of the technology roadmap for China's manufacturing industry, and effectively transform the wisdom of academicians and experts into a new driving force for accelerating the construction of a manufacturing power and the development of advanced manufacturing.
Xin Guobin pointed out in his speech that the technology innovation roadmap released this time is a public consultation report, a guiding and reference technology innovation roadmap.
It is reported that regularly studying, formulating and publishing the technology innovation roadmap for key areas of Made in China 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the technology roadmap) is an important measure to implement Made in China 2025 and improve the innovation capacity of the national manufacturing industry.
As we all know, the current development trend and pattern of the global manufacturing industry are undergoing profound changes, the speed of technological iteration and update is accelerating, and the industrial development and market demand are changing with each passing day. In order to timely reflect the new trends, new situations and new problems in the development of the manufacturing industry and provide reference and guidance to all sectors that keep pace with the times, the National Strategic Advisory Committee for the Construction of a Strong Manufacturing Nation started the revision of the technology roadmap in early 2017. More than 400 academicians and experts who participated in this revision work conducted in-depth research on the development status of China's key industrial technology fields, closely followed the latest progress of global industrial technology, and carefully sorted out the shortcomings and bottlenecks in various fields. On the basis of this, they made detailed revisions to the technology needs of enterprises and the development goals of technology innovation in various fields, key links, key materials, key equipment, etc., and finally formed the 2017 version of the technology roadmap.
